Starting Out as a Work from Home Mom
I have worked behind a desk in an office for the 8-10 years. I finally decided to resign and stay home to take care of my husband and my kid. It was rough at first as Formal GownsI have pretty much lost my source of income but to my luck, someone hired me to work from home.
Women were once expected to do nothing but take care of her family by staying home. Times changed us. Most of us say that we work for equality but by doing this, we have sacrificed our priorities. Men are there to provide but in hard times, it just wasn’t possible for most.
I’m proud to say that I am one of the lucky few. Herve Leger SaleYes, I did sacrifice having lesser income coming in but I found that there are ways to little by little earn as much as I used to. Staggered and some unstable sources but for what it’s worth, I get to spend more time with my family.
In the past months, I have seen a lot of changes. For the con, less luxuries but that’s just it. For the pro’s, my kid has become more positive in his outlook in life. You know why? Because I’m there more to guide him. He has the security of having his mom to be his confidante first hand andwedding dresses not a random stranger. Another one of the pro’s, I get to cook for my family, prepare their snacks, and my husband and I and our son gets to have a home-cooked meal and bonding time during dinner. This is more than enough reason for me to continue on with where I am now.
I just wish the same for more women out there.
